M, mavalia and Princess M are the aliases of Masami Mustaza, a news-turned-features writer for The Malay Mail, of which she pens for Mail Motor, and FLIP: Gadgets, Manga and Hobbies.
She has contributed articles to www.think.com.my, The Star R.Age and The New Straits Times while currently, she contributes manga reviews to Malayia’s hottest new lifestyle and entertainment portal www.gua.com.my. She has also had her poems published by www.poetry.com both online and two of its coffeetable editions.
Additionally, she has also made an appearance on telly in an interview with local TV documentary series, Expose on Astro Ria on The Malay Mail’s role in spurring a nation-wide search for (ex-) missing boy, Yin.
Prior to this, she was a sub-editor with The Encyclopedia of Malaysia on its Sultanates and Sports volumes for several months, showcasing her versatility from writing on a range of subjects to doing editing work.
However, it must be told that her first foray into writing stemmed for her love of writing fanfiction based on the anime (New Age War Chronicles) Gundam Wing, where she was one of the more prominent writers in her circle.
